Stole this idea from another car forum I frequent. Just trying to make some small talk :)

Spent all day yesterday replacing the timing belt along with all 3 front seals. Hopefully this oil leak is taken care of. Also replaced serp belt and tensioner, but i still have that darn belt squeak! Did the distributor cap and rotor too since I didn't do that when I did plugs and wires.

So what did you guys do?

Im putting a new rear 1/4 panel on and yesterday I finished prepping the new piece. The old 1/4 is nearly ready to come off, but Im waiting for a cold knife to come in the mail so I can remove the rear window and finish removing the old 1/4.

Yesterday I replaced the non-working PRC struts and shocks. New ride with actual shock dampening......priceless!

Put in new headliner in the white 87. I figure I will drop a nice motor and turbo in her, and see if it changes my mind to keep her.

well yesterday got a master cylinder and twin piston front calipers off a 99ish stang for the 88.(doing vac boost conversion)
then today the oil cap disappeared and coated my entire engine bay with oil. so i had to clean that up. but before that was in a 180 car cruise from vineland high school to the ocean city. 60* and sunny and a drive to the shore with old cars = amazing!
and my 87.. been sitting for like 3 weeks now. maybe i should start it and make sure it still runs.

I found out that since the heater core swap, my outer two tail lights on the passenger side are messed up electrically, and I probably pinched a wire or plug re-installing the dash. I'll hopefully have it figured out Thursday evening or Friday morning. It's killing me.

Only thing T-Bird related I did today was drive my son to preschool in it and drive it to work.

Oh... that and wonder when the rest of the photos for the NATO calendar are going to come in... hint hint

I'm in the process of attempting to rewire my fog lights. I'm useing Jeff K's instructions.

I hope I'm doing this correct. Instead of thread jacking I'll just bump it and link it.

Spent pretty much all day today trying to track down a steady drip drip drip of oil coming off the block... with no luck. I do know it's not the turbo oil feed or pressure sender though!

All I did was look at some in dash aftermarket gauges to put in the TC. Switching to C4 and wondering if I should go to a cable driven speedo or use some kind of cable to electronic adapter.

Well after getting stranded on the road today and having to be towed home, I will some day in the not too distant future be replacing the front transmission seal. :)

Slightly optimistic after first glance without jacking up the car. May be just a rusted transmission coolant line. Oil is pooling about 8 - 10 inches in front of the tranny and to the right. Praying hard!!!! :)

Changed my oil filter (not the oil). Then added some Liqui Moly CERATEC. Turbo bearings love this stuff!

Hmm I looked at that Liqui Moly CERATEC up on the web, it looks fairly interesting. Does anyone else use it? I normally like to keep my oil just oil. But this seems to be worth it if it does what the description says.

Radiator flush for winter and hooked up new rear speakers.
Then I sprayed some contact cleaner in the rear defrost switch, equalizer switch and fog light switch. The contact cleaner worked good except on the fog light switch. I'm about to take that sucker apart to investigate.

Yesterday pulled the rear springs out to remove 1-1/2 coils from each, installed Chuck W's inverted rear shock mounts, removed the quad shocks (I have CHE's tubular control arms installed), and pulled the old shocks for new Koni Yellows. Test fitted my new aluminum radiator and FMIC for clearances.
